The Invoice Belichick period is formally over for the New England Patriots, and the franchise is shifting right into a courageous new world of uncertainty and with a clear slate.
Jerod Mayo, a linebacker who performed for Belichick for eight seasons, is the Patriots’ new head coach, and he has some enormous sneakers to fill.
On Monday, the group introduced 4 new additions to Mayo’s teaching employees: Bob Bicknell, Vinny DePalma, Taylor Embree, and Dont’a Hightower.

After enjoying faculty ball at Boston Faculty, Bicknell turned a coach at Boston College in 1993, and after 5 years there, he spent a number of years teaching in NFL Europe, a now-defunct worldwide league.
He began his NFL teaching profession as an assistant offensive line coach with the Kansas Metropolis Chiefs in 2007, and he turned the Buffalo Payments’ tight ends coach in 2010.
Bicknell later turned a large receivers coach, first with Buffalo, and later with the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Cincinnati Bengals.
He would be the Patriots’ new tight ends coach.
DePalma will likely be their defensive high quality management coach, and like Bicknell, he performed at Boston Faculty.
Embree has been employed to be New England’s working backs coach after he was the New York Jets’ working backs coach during the last three seasons.
He was beforehand an assistant with the Eagles and 49ers.
Hightower was a linebacker for 9 seasons in New England, and he was named to the Professional Bowl twice whereas successful himself three Tremendous Bowl rings below Belichick.
He retired as a participant final March after not enjoying in the course of the 2022 season.
