Mumbai:

A teenage boy was held for sexually assaulting a 6-year-od lady in Vakola within the western a part of Mumbai, a police official stated on Thursday.

The incident passed off on Wednesday when the lady was on her technique to the bathroom, the Vakola police station official stated.

“The 18-year-old accused allegedly inserted his finger into her non-public elements. After she narrated her ordeal to her dad and mom, a police case was filed for rape and different offences beneath the Indian Penal Code and Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act,” he stated.

He was arrested and remanded in police custody for 4 days, the official added.
