Patna:
A complete of 13 folks drowned throughout Chhath festivities in several water our bodies in seven districts of Bihar since Sunday, officers mentioned.
The deaths had been reported in Patna, Khagaria, Samastipur, Saharsa, Darbhanga, Munger and Besusarai, a press release issued by the Bihar Catastrophe Administration Division (DMD) mentioned on Monday.
In Patna district, three individuals drowned in a pond in Brahmpur space round 8.15 am, it mentioned.
“In Khagaria, three individuals drowned in Chautham and Parbata areas in two separate incidents round 6.30 am on Monday. Apart from, two individuals every in Darbhanga and Samastipur districts and one every in Begusarai, Munger and Saharsa districts died resulting from drowning since Sunday,” the assertion mentioned.
